Source code, executables and documentation can be downloaded from openspml.org. This site MAY also contain pointers to information that can be downloaded from other servers. Most of this data is covered by licenses that should be reviewed prior to executing a download.

This page outlines the most common types of licenses used on openspml.org. All license information should be reviewed carefully before downloading.

This page refers to OpenSPML 2.0 Toolkit. The older version is under a separate license, available at http://www.openspml.org/license.html.

Source Licenses

OpenSPML 2.0 Toolkit code is released under the Common Development and Distribution License (CDDL) Version 1.0 (full text). The CDDL is an Open Source Initiative (OSI)-approved open source license. Please review the CDDL FAQ for more information about the CDDL.

The OpenSPML project also includes a number of components based on existing open source projects. These components will continue
to be available under their current licenses. For example,

• Apache Tomcat is licensed under the Apache Public License 2.0.
• Apache Xerces2 Java Parser is licensed under the Apache Public License 2.0.
• Components under other licenses may be added as the project progresses.
